Rolaframe

Many counted canvas projects that I want to stitch are BIG, like 16 by 20 big.  A canvas that size on stretcher bars becomes unwieldy, at least for me.  Introducing my Rolaframe!  This size is 16 inch scroll rods and 9 inch sidebars.  I just put Tahiti on these and love it!  I used these for cross stitch at one time and thought I would try them for needlepoint.  Instead of a groove and dowel rod, like my Stitchmate scroll rods had, these have pins or nails that you pierce your fabric and/or canvas with, place the other section on top and them roll it up.  And if you leave enough fabric and/or canvas the small hole marks from the nails/pins will not even be visible when you frame the piece.  And these are fairly lightweight to hold in your hand to stitch if you don't use a floor/lap frame.

Here is a link to their Facebook page, and then you can e-mail them directly to order or for a price list.

Until next time...
