Jester Jack

Tonight I finished Jester Jack by Cherrywood Design Studios out of the Just Cross Stitch 2012 Halloween book.  I stitched it on Terra Cotta perforated paper that I sprayed with Mango Tint-It to give it a bit more of an orange shade, and then I sprayed it with a light coat of Diamond Dust Glitter Spray to give it that opalescent look.

This was a fairly easy stitch, given that I only had to stitch the face.  The challenging part was using my oval template cutter to cut out the perforated paper and matching scrapbook paper, but it turned out good!  And also finding a stem for the pumpkin.  I bought three different things before settling on one.

I did finish the stitching part of Lizzie Kate's Be Jolly/Be Merry Be Blox kit, but I am waiting for some scrapbook papers and embellishments to arrive in the mail, so stay tuned for that scrapbook page!

Next up...Boo by Lindsay Lane Designs from the Just Cross Stitch 2014 Halloween Special Collector's Issue.

Until next time...

  1. Awesome!! I love the Halloween bunting on the top of the page too. Did that come on the page or is that your design? I am so jealous of your creativity :)

    1. Khristine, thank you so much! The halloween letters on the top were die cuts that I punched out and glued to the page.
