Liberty

I have flitted from project to project lately, starting a lot but not finishing anything.  I have finally settled on Lizzie Kate's A Little Liberty, in honor of the upcoming 4th of July holiday.  I am stitching it on 28 count Lambswool Jobelan instead of the linen included in the kit, and with DMC instead of the recommended overdyed threads.  I am going to try my hand at a cube finish for this one.  

 
I have a dream and a vision of having the Pottery Barn Cubby like in Diane's post here filled with cubes of all different designs.

A few weeks ago I received my Nora Corbett Faerie Summer Love back from Jill Rensel.  Stunning!  It was $263 including shipping. 

 
I also decided to give the DMC Stitchbows a try for DMC.  I really like them!  Very easy to put them on the Stitchbows and you just slip the numbered label on a tab.  Everything is kept nice and neat.  In some reviews I read online people said they did not like them because you could not store leftover floss like you can on bobbins, but I just wound the leftovers around the Stitchbow and smoothed it down.  It worked for me.
