Progress & New Issue of JCS

I have been working on the first installment of Country Cottage Needleworks Frosty Forest series for a few days now, using the recommended linen and threads.  Good progress!  Although I do admit I had to stitch the tree on the left twice after I discovered I had miscounted by four squares.  But all is well now.  The second installment in this series, Snowy Deer, is too cute!  

I received the newest issue of Just Cross Stitch in the mail the other day and just sat down yesterday to look through it.  I discovered a great perforated paper project I would like to stitch.  I love perforated paper!  

I also discovered these needles on the new items page in the magazine.  I promptly ordered both the size 24 and 26 needles.  I will let you know my thoughts on them!
