Magnets and Project Organization

I have amassed a small collection of needle minders as of late from Down Sunshine Lane.  There is one designer they carry that makes very lightweight magnets, and relatively small also.  I use these to hold my pattern on my fabric while stitching.  The purple/pink flowers I am currently using for Wisteria.  They go rather nicely with the pattern!

I also found this great little box on 123 Stitch's website and my husband cut two small notches so I can set my scissors in the box as well.  I always put my floss key on the inside of the lid and the pic of the finished piece on the outside.  I also keep my Elizabeth Turner Bead Buddie on the outside of the box.  Boy, is that a lifesaver when it comes to beading!!!  I put my Kreinik and mini highlighter in one of the compartments.  I found those highlighters on Amazon, a set of 6, and they all smell like different kinds of fruit!!  In the middle compartment is my bead containers.  I also purchased these from 123 Stitch.  They twist on and off, so you can reach each bead.  I just peel the number from the original bead container and stick it right on the plastic so I can tell which bead is which.  It has worked great for Wisteria.

I received some Polstitches fabrics in the mail today.  I still have a few coming from a different order.

I did another section of the wing last night.  Not too much to go now.  The colors are much brighter in the picture than in real life.  She is still beautiful nonetheless!!

See you next time!
