I only did a small bit of stitching last night on Seafoam, but I did get the rest of the pencil lines drawn in for the remaining sections. I have loved working on this one.
I love glitter nail polishes, but I don't particularly love the removal process, which involved me soaking cotton rounds in nail polish remover and wrapping them around each nail, then pressing aluminum foil to hold said cotton round on my fingernail, and then waiting five minutes. While this process does work, the OPI glitter off base coat I recently purchased works amazingly better!
You paint it on like a normal base coat. It goes on white and dries clear. Once it is clear you can put any glitter polish on top. When you are ready to remove your glitter polish just peel up a small corner and all of the polish will peel right off! I purchased this on Amazon for $6.95. I cannot recommend this enough for those who use glitter polish.
I continue to get through Season 5 of Game of Thrones. Wowsa!!! I need to look up some more synonyms for "wow." LOL.
I recently heard/read two sayings that I particularly love. One is "nothing changes if nothing changes." And my personal favorite, "no is a complete sentence." As I am apt to say no, and then give a long lengthy explanation. We do not need to explain ourselves to anyone. Another skill I am working on!
And this acronym I learned from a friend who attends Al-Anon I particularly like as well: THINK. Before you say anything THINK. Is it Thoughtful? Is it Helpful? Is it Intelligent? Is it Necessary? Is it Kind?
People would be saying a lot LESS if they followed this acronym, myself included! I have been putting this into practice since this past Monday and I have said less! But have felt better.
Until next time...
I never heard of glitter off. I will have to go have a look for it :) I love the nothing changes saying, that is the truth :)
